Our Department's Research
Our faculty utilize a variety of model systems, such as yeast, C. elegans, mammalian cells and mice to study fundamental mechanisms of molecular and cellular biology. Our interests deal with questions addressing genetic pathways that regulate cell proliferation, cell fate, differentiation and cancer formation.
We are active in many areas of molecular biology, including: Mitochondrial Research, Nematodes Research, Protein Biochemistry, and Yeast Research.
