Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program
Our faculty is committed to training physicians to provide excellence in women's health care through this four-year, specialty-track program. Our residents gain a solid foundation in general obstetrics and gynecology, as well as educational exposures and opportunities in all the subspecialties of Ob/Gyn care. Applying the osteopathic principles of patient well-being to women's health fosters an environment of integrated and comprehensive experiences to ensure quality care for patients and residents, alike.
Current Research
- OMT in pregnancy reducing rates of primary cesarean section.
- Discrepancy in first trimester ultrasound dating and association with intrauterine growth restriction.
Fellowships
- Our graduated residents have continued their training in subspecialties, such as Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Our residents receive excellent surgical training and early hands-on opportunities in not only the Labor Room, but also the Operating Room, a distinguishing characteristic of our program. Throughout their residency, physicians experience hands-on care in general obstetrics and gynecologic treatment, as well as subspecialties, including high-risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology, gynecologic oncology, and antenatal testing.
