The first year of post-graduate training in our Urology program is a tracked surgical internship and the remaining four years are dedicated to clinical urology training. While surgical skills are an emphasis, our residents' education goes beyond surgical training. All physicians participate in resident-run clinics, which offers experience in both outpatient urology practice and patient evaluation.

The Urology Program partners with Jefferson Health New Jersey and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. Other rotations are completed at Virtua Health in Voorhees and Mt. Holly, and our Pediatric Urology program is run through a collaboration with Virtua, as well. Through all of these partnerships, residents have the opportunity to treat a diverse demographic who requires a range treatment possibilities at a variety of medical centers, including both large health systems and outpatient facilities.

A sample schedule:

  • Pediatric Urology - 4 blocks
