Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM3) “Plus 1 Year”
The Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Year Three entry residency program trains physicians to develop the knowledge and skills through clinical experience to care for patients with musculoskeletal complaints. In line with the Sponsoring Institution’s mission, the program seeks to develop clinically skillful, compassionate, and culturally competent providers from diverse backgrounds who are prepared to become leaders in the communities they serve.
Is This Program Right for Me?
This program is specifically designed for physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in specialties such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, PM&R, Pediatrics, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, OB/GYN, or General Surgery. Whether you are a DO looking to master your craft or an MD with a dedicated interest in osteopathic principles, this program provides the pathway to board certification in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
We provide resident physicians extensive clinic time to diagnose, assess, treat, and manage patients across all settings, including ambulatory and acute care. These skills are attained through:
- Supervised Clinical Experiences: Real-world application of OMM in complex cases.
- Targeted Didactic Education: Deep dives into osteopathic philosophy and advanced anatomy.
- Diverse Clinical Rotations: Exposure to various patient populations to round out your specialist background.
