Welcome to your second year of medical school!  We hope you are enjoying a much needed break by relaxing and re-energizing your minds, bodies and spirits. This website will provide you with important information necessary to begin the 2025/26 academic year.

Your second year officially begins on Monday, July 14th. Please refer to One45 for your class schedule, grades, and evaluations. All course materials and echo links, etc. will be posted in Canvas.

Second Year Registration Checklist

To ensure that you are prepared to begin classes on Monday, July 14th, please make sure that you have completed the following requirements.

Note: This section is continuously updated with new documents and links. Please check back frequently!

1) Big/Little Program Questionnaire

2) Register for an Annual Parking Permit

  • Please note, parking permits are required to park on both the Stratford and Sewell campuses. If you do not have a vehicle, you do not need to purchase a parking permit.

3)  Student Financial Responsibility Agreement (SFRA)

  • This agreement provides important information to students about the cost of their education and the financial policies associated with their enrollment at Rowan University. By signing the agreement, students acknowledge they have read the SFRA and agree to the
    terms. This must be completed annually.

3) Meningitis Facts and Questions

  • Rowan Virtua SOM requires a meningitis vaccination for all students living in campus housing in Glassboro. Specifically, the Meningococcal ACWY (Menactra®, Menveo®, or MenQuadfi®) vaccine is required, and documentation of it must be within 5 years of the student's enrollment date or after their 16th birthday. Additionally, the Meningococcal B (Bexsero® or Trumenba®) vaccine is recommended for all students and required for those with certain high-risk conditions. 
  • The Office of Student Health will follow-up with all students living in Rowan University dorms with information about specific meningitis immunization requirements. If you have any questions about this requirement, you should call the Office of Student Health at 856-566-6825.

We Need Your Help!

We are seeking student volunteer assistance for the Rowan-Virtua SOM White Coat Ceremony on Friday, August 8 at Pfleeger Theater at Wilson Hall on the Glassboro Campus. We will host two ceremonies: 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm. A large, outdoor reception will be held in between the ceremonies for all students and guests.

We are seeking volunteers from 2:30 to 7:00 pm. A meal will be provided for all volunteers.

More information about volunteering will follow as the date nears.
