Rowan-Virtua SOM Transitional Year Residency Program

The Transitional Year Residency at Rowan-Virtua SOM is designed to prepare residents to enter their advanced residency training with comprehensive clinical skills through patient care experiences rotating in both inpatient and outpatient settings throughout Southern New Jersey. Residents benefit from in-depth clinical experiences that are enhanced by the educational expertise of committed and dedicated house officers‚ university faculty and attending physicians. The program aims to mold residents into well-rounded physicians.

South Jersey is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The area offers great restaurants, shopping, hiking, live music, art, history, culture, and of course the Jersey Shore.
