"When I came to Rowan as a medical student (UMDNJ-SOM at the time), it felt like home right away. As I completed each step of training, I realized that this is one of the best places to train and learn. The faculty, staff and administration are approachable, supportive and helpful. They really take teamwork seriously. When I was looking for my first attending job, I learned more about academic medicine and realized it was a perfect fit for me, since I love to teach, mentor and learn. Being involved in residency training is so rewarding. I'm a Family Doc because I love building relationships with my patients and that spills over to the residents, as well. Rowan-Virtua SOM Family Medicine is a department that is continuously striving to find ways to make our patient-care experience and educational experience more meaningful and adaptable. It's truly a great place to work!"
