All-Star Sports Clinic

logo that says All-Star Sports ClinicThe All-Star Sports Clinic at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine offers children with disabilities who are between the ages of 6 and 15 the opportunity to learn a new sport, make new friends, be part of a team, and have fun in a stress-free, non-competitive environment.

Clinics are held the second Tuesday of each month in the Rowan-Virtua SOM gym, located in the Academic Center on the school's Stratford campus. The events are run by a group of dedicated medical student volunteers, with additional help from the Office of Student Affairs and Alumni Engagement. There is no cost for children to participate.

Benefits of the All-Star Sports Clinic:

  • Attendees practice their skills by participating in a different sport each month.
  • Your child receives attention and encouragement from medical students.
  • Inclusive activities help promote stress-free interaction with health care professionals.
