Rowan-Virtua SOM Summer PREP
Each summer the Rowan-Virtua SOM Pre-Medical Research and Education Program (PREP) accepts exceptional rising sophomores and juniors from colleges and universities across New Jersey for an educational internship program. This program provides underrepresented students interested in the medical profession with an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and support for their medical school preparation. PREP introduces students to the exciting world of osteopathic medicine through biomedical research, clinical shadowing, MCAT instruction, medical school admissions processes, and skill-building seminars. The program is fully funded via the New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF), so there are no costs to participants.
