There are many challenges in medical school, but juggling the competing priorities of a being a parent while studying to become a physician just might be at the top of the list. Lactation Spaces at SOM

Lactation rooms are available on our campuses for nursing mothers. Designed to provide comfortable and private space, the rooms are equipped with the necessities to ensure a supportive environment for lactation needs. Please refer to the following guidelines:

  • Respect the privacy of others using the rooms.
  • For use of lactation needs only.
  • Keep the room clean and tidy for the next user.
  • Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated as we strive to support the needs of our nursing mothers. For any questions or concerns regarding the lactation rooms, please contact the SOM Dean's Office.
