Rowan D.O.C.S.
Rowan D.O.C.S. (D.O.s Counseling Students) has been a resource for guiding future doctors for more than a decade.
This program offers several on-site opportunities each year for medical students to learn from established physicians and practice their networking skills.
On-site events include:
- Specialty Speed Networking
- Medical students meet with established physicians and discuss the pros and cons of their specialty. This speed networking event allows medical students to meet with physicians from more than seven different specialties is less than two hours.
- Lunch and Learn Programs
- Expert speakers lead one to two-hour discussions on medical topics, career selection and residency advisement.
SOM Connections Network
The SOM Connections Network was created to connect alumni with students to share residency pearls, serve as expert speakers and connect for shadowing opportunities. This is not a mentoring program, but rather a referral program designed to do one thing – create connections.
If you are a Rowan-Virtua SOM medical student interested in utilizing the SOM Connections Network, please click here to submit your request.
