Clinical Rotations for Visiting Students
Third and fourth year clinical students from other osteopathic medical schools have the opportunity to participate in clinical rotations through RowanSOM's Osteopathic Post-Doctoral Training Institution (OPTI). The rotations are served through six affiliated New Jersey hospitals: Jefferson Health in Cherry Hill, Stratford, and Washington Township; Our Lady of Lourdes in Camden and Burlington counties; South Jersey Healthcare in Vineland; Ocean Medical Center in Brick and Christ Hospital in Jersey City.
How do I apply?
Open slots that are available to visiting students for the upcoming academic year are filled once the placement of current RowanSOM students is complete. If you are interested in applying to serve a rotation as a visiting student, please consider the following requirements:
- We begin to accept applications in April
- General Surgery applicants must have a COMLEX score of 550+
- OB/Gyn applicants must have a COMLEX score of 500+
